Enhanced collective giving tools + faster grants.

Thanks for being part of our community of purposeful givers! Your feedback has helped us make some exciting product enhancements this quarter.

1) Growth of Community Funds. đźŚ±

Since releasing our newest collective giving tool, Community Funds, in August 2023, we have celebrated over $125,000 contributed to close to 40 funds, including gifts from a recent matching campaign.

We're excited by the long-term potential of these funds, and are dedicated to helping each fund manager tell the story of their Community Fund effectively in a way that encourages trust and support from among their donors.

This is reflected in our early product improvements:

  • Adding a “grantmaking process” section to clarify governance structures.

  • Supporting multiple images in the About section to invite more visual storytelling.

 

2) Faster grants to charities.⚡

Charityvest is now a leader among DAFs in speed of grant delivery. We believe better giving experiences matter. With these innovations, Charityvest is proud to send your grants to charities faster than ever, at no additional cost:

  1. More frequent grants: Now, electronic grant payments are sent next day for the 300k PayPal-enabled charities, and checks are electronically generated and sent out weekly for the remainder of charitable organizations.

  2. Grant administration automation: We've implemented more automation in grant processing that eliminates human error.

  3. Improved Grant Status Tracker: Tracking your grant is now as easy as waiting for a package delivery. Click on your grant in Recent Activity to see where it is, and when it's expected to arrive.

3) Coming Soon: Charityvest for Advisors. đź‘”

We believe financial advisors are a critical part of the giving equation. To better serve advisors, we are preparing to launch custom, white-labeled DAF programs that are fully automated. For advisors, this unlocks greater purpose for clients, stronger client retention, more revenue, and better marketing stories.We are grateful to participate in the inaugural cohort of The Founders Arena, an accelerator program that has supported us through this growth.Curious?
